Directories and files

The ``Directory layout'' you see depends on whether you are in UNIX or Linux mode.

The ``The File Update Daemon'' can be used to keep files synchronized between environments, and to monitor link integrity.

The following files are linked between the two environments.

• /linux/etc/hosts -> /unixware/etc/hosts

• /linux/etc/resolv.conf -> /unixware/etc/resolv.conf

• /linux/etc/mime.types -> /unixware/etc/mime.types

• /linux/etc/motd -> /unixware/etc/motd

• /linux/etc/TIMEZONE -> /unixware/etc/TIMEZONE
