Group management
You can add, delete or modify a group using the UnixWare 7 SCOadmin
Account Manager See
``Administering user accounts''.
Alternatively, you can use the
groupadd(1M),
groupdel(1M),
or
groupmod(1M),
command from the command line
in either UNIX or Linux mode.
NOTE:
UnixWare 7 group names must be less than or equal to 8 characters. Linux
group names can be longer. If you create a Linux group with a long name,
an equivalent UnixWare 7 group with a
truncated, 8-character group name is created.
Following this process, you can access the Linux group using its
long or short name.
