LKP System Management

Package management

Most Linux applications and utilities are provided in the form of source or binary RPM packages. The RedHat Package Manager (RPM) is used to manage RPM packages in the LKP environment.

Sometime after installing the LKP, you might want to install or update RPM packages. This is accomplished using the rpm command. See rpm(8linux).
